Hi All

 This is the report from the “Essaouira kiteboard pro” in Morocco (02 to 08 august):

 Day 1 was no wind, so good for rest a bit…

Day 2 lot of wind, we did the single elimination but was’nt enought time to finish it.

Day 3 same hard condition (gusty wind and chopy watter), we finish the single, I was riding on my 9.5 and the on my 7.5m², I finish 3nd for the single elimination.

Then the organization decided to lonch the double, I save my 3nd place and that’s it (I loose against my good friend Antoine Auriol (www.antoineauriol.com)

Day 4, Wave master event in the south of essaouira, second wave maste for me (first one in new cal last year), 9th place for the single elimination but was’nt double so I stay on that palce, not bad.

Day 5, speed crossing I dont know the result as yet.

Ps: There is some podium pics on the result page, you can have a look…

Registration day

 We went registrate in the morning and then we chill on the “medina” (big bazar with a lot of shot where you can find everything…)

The wind was very strong and gusty (not like New Caledonia conditions) but I went on the watter for a ride…

At the end I did a big kite loop and break my batten on the kite, now it’s ok I fix it.

Today was the second chance…I was 4th for the single yesterday.

Firstable I did a heat against V. Faymendie, I win so I keep my 4th place, and then Against M.Fernandez (I win) so I wen up to the 3nd place…after against F.Debos (I win)for the 2nd place and agaisnt Sebatien Garat for the 1st place ,Did a lot of switch stance trics but I don’t know if people know wath I was doing…

So I’M 2nd NOT SO BAD!!!

I will do better in Morroco!

I get the 4th place, not so bad, but I will do better tomorow for the double elimination…

Istanbul stage for today…

We went to the Bosphorus “chanel who separate the black sea and the mediteranean sea” (Istanbul).

Was very gusty, I was with my 11.5, and the staff was to do a hang time contest.

So before that I went on the water for a free session, VERY NICE.

I did a good job: 2nd of hte contest with 7.08s

And we went to a HUGE sport center, to have fun and relaxon big spa., sona, hamam…

Then we party hard!!!

No wind again!!!

 But we did a speed crossing…and went to visit Istanbul city!!!

Was very nice, good fun in the “grand bazard”
