This is the en of thez Cabarete World cup…

At this comp is always hard for us to get good ranking because the Dominicans got an incredible level, For example Ariel CORNIEL or Alex SOTO ect.

Also the spot is a bit choppy and the wind is not so strong…

For the first heat of the single elimination I was against Tom COURT a very good rider from the UK (sure you know him).
Was pretty confidant about this on and didn’t crash at all, did some nice combination of switch and a nice back mobe blind…Got it!

Second heat against Mickel SHITZHOFER from Switzerland during the heat the wind dropped a bit and I had to take my 13 on the middle, that was a good choice cause he could go as big as me at the end…advanced again.

3^rd heat against Kevin LANGEREE from Netherland, such a tied heat 2 judges to 1, every body on the beach went for me…it always hard when is close like this, also when there is only 3 judges! Next comp for sure I will kill him!

So yeah at the end of the single I get 5^th!
Happy about it.

Same condition for the double, just want to tell you that I’ve been waiting all day long on the beach cause it was raining and there was no wind at all, and around 4 the wind came with some rain…Great success!

First heat against my team mate Alex PASTOR, went for it and went big, didn’t really looked at Alex but he crashed a lot…so I advanced.

2^nd heat of the day with also my friend from France Sebastian GARAT, I was still on my way, focalizing on the result. Anyway did a very good heat with all the switch as I could and put my kite very low, that made the difference…I advanced

Couldn’t finish the double in the same day cause it was too late so I had to wait the next day to go against Alex SOTO a local dude with a very good level. Also a very close heat 2 judges to 1 but they went for him for the technical difficulty…
Next time I know how to do.

So get 6^th at the end.

Today was the 2nd day of the single elimination in Cabarete, Dominican Republique.

As I told you yesterday on the first heat I was against M. Shitzhofer, very tied heat (  not so much wind, was on my 15m and had to run on the beach to go upwind) but I had a good heat and I made it!!

Next heat against K. LANGEREE.
I begin the heat with the 4 mobes on each way was prety stoked obout that….then lend some nice others…at the last minute I was winning from far but after a bad landing on a Back mobe warepped, my kite went on the watter and I could’nt relauch it…
During this minute he lended a nice onehanded kiteloop pass, who make him win this round…

Any way I’m 5th on the single.

Let see tomorow for more heats hope I’ll do good.

Finished the first round today.
I was against Tom COURT, the wind was a bit light I was on my 12 generator but during the heat the wind droped and I had to run upwind on the beach…
    
Was a prety hard job to lend somme nice powered trics, but I made it!!!
So tomorow I’m on against M. Shitzhofer …

Yeah finaly I made it to Cabarete (Dom Rep).
Preaty stoked obout it!
leave New Cal then whent to Japan, France and spend one day there could’nt find any flight the same day, next morning flight again to St Domingo, take a taxi to Cabarete (3 hours)….

I like Cabarete cause it’s a bit like HOME, with coconut, good wind, ect
Yesterday I had a short sess, was pretty good, broke a board but all good hopefully got a spare one.
The comp will begin on the 16.

Hi All,
Yesterday was a great day for Surfing.
We wake up at 5am with my friends to go to the reef, get there around 6am and it was amazing:

As you can see perfect little tube…
Was pretty tired at the end of the day, it’s good to feel like this even there is no wind.
Hope for some wind today…will see.
